DIOA ONLINE AUDITION TRAINING
Daegu International Opera Awards is back this summer with new opportunities for young talented singers. DIOA online audition training gives young singers the unique chance to receive profound feedback from distinguished professionals (such as opera and casting directors) from some of the most famous Opera Houses around the world. Audition training will be held online in a face-to-face meeting with the chosen instructor.

PROGRAM
• FEEDBACK
Participants must prepare 2 arias per instructor for the zoom meeting, in order to receive feedback from the instructors.
• OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
Instructors may choose participants and invite them for auditions at their respective opera house after the DIOA Online Audition Training.
• OPPORTUNITY FOR KOREAN CITIZENS
Korean citizens further have the chance to receive an invitation for auditioning at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as WCN Scholar for the season 21/22 *
*Female singers: 30 years or younger
Male singer: 32 years or younger
REQUIREMENTS
Following documents shall be submitted with the application:
• Completed application form
• Participation fee and proof of payment
• 1 scanned copy of passport
• Short biography (max. 150 words, written out in English)
• Portrait photo (minimum size 4x6cm, resolution 300 dpi, format JPEG)

July 24th, 2020, by 23:59 CET
Applicants will be informed in writing, after receiving the complete application with all documents and the participation fee. The application fee and all submitted documents cannot be refunded.
Eligibility: Participants (m/f) of all nationalities are invited to enter the online audition training if they are born on or after September 01st, 1984.
Official pianist: if you are located in Korea and require a pianist, you can contact the organizer.
SCHEDULE and ZOOM
August 10th – August 28st, 2020 – Via Zoom
Participants must prepare 2 arias for each Zoom meeting with the instructor. After the application deadline, participants will be contacted via email and receive the detailed time schedule and all further details to the accessibility to the Zoom meeting.
The duration of the meeting is maximum of 30 Minutes (including singing and feedback from instructor).
* Participants are advised to download Zoom (www.zoom.us) to their device and, if possible, to use good quality cameras and microphones.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee for one feedback with one instructor is 60 EUR
If participants wish to receive feedback from 3 instructors*, the participation fee is 150 EUR
*1 instructor of participants choice, 2 instructors by random pick
